What the app stores
Your habits, tasks, lenses, views, vacations and settings — in a local SQLite database inside the app’s private storage on your device. Reminders are computed on the device from that data and handed to your phone’s notification system.
What leaves your phone
Nothing, by design. Checkfuchs makes no network requests. The only way data leaves the device is when you export a backup ZIP and choose where to share or save it.
Permissions
Notifications, so reminders can appear. Exact alarms (optional), so a reminder fires at the exact minute rather than within the hour. Neither permission sends anything anywhere.
Backups
A backup is a ZIP file containing your database and a JSON copy. It is created only when you ask, and it goes wherever you send it — we never receive it. Treat it like any personal file.
Deleting your data
Settings › Delete all data removes every task, habit, lens, view and vacation. Uninstalling the app removes everything, including settings. There is no account to close and nothing to request from us, because we hold nothing.
Children
Checkfuchs collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the date above moves and the change is described here. The app itself will not start collecting data without a new version and a new policy.
